What are the contest deadlines?

Contest Starts Oct 4th. @ 12:00 EST and Ends Oct 14 @ 12:00 EST winner will be announced later that day @ 5pm EST in the general channel

How do I enter the contest?

Join our Discord server with this link and submit your beat to the #spawn-beat-battle-submissions channel. Only one submission per person if we find out you submitted more than one beat to the contest through another person or account you will be eliminated and banned from the server. If you would like to change your submission, delete the previous one and upload the new one after. No talk in the submission channel, only beat submissions. Support one another, use the emoji fire reactions if you like the beat!

Can I use samples from other packs for my entry?

You must exclusively use samples from the free kit we’ve provided. You’re welcome to use other drum kits, accents & phrases but the heart of your beat must contain one of the samples from the free kit.If a sample is not used in your beat, you will be eliminated. Only one submission per person if we find out you submitted more than one beat to the contest through another person or account you will be eliminated  and banned from the server.

How is the winner selected?

Winner will be selected on October 14 by the Sauceware team, based on creativity, originality, and overall quality of the beat

Are the samples royalty-free? 

The samples included gives you a non-exclusive license to use them in your productions however you see fit, see the sample folder for detailed agreement. Master Clearance Guaranteed. For more specific clearance questions, email support@saucewareaudio.com.
